Terms and Conditions for Event Attendance

1. Eligibility

- The event is open to Year 10-12 students in the UK.

- Due to limited spaces, each student may attend with one parent/guardian only.

2. Registration

- All attendees must pre-register to attend the event.

- Registration will be confirmed via email, and only confirmed attendees will be admitted.

3. Parental/Guardian Consent

- Students under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian to attend.

- By registering, parents/guardians agree to accompany the student and remain present throughout the event.

4. Attendance Limits

- As space is limited, entry is restricted to registered students and one accompanying parent/guardian.

- If you are unable to attend after registration, please inform the organisers as early as possible to allow waitlisted attendees a chance to participate.

5. Photography and Videography Consent

- Photography and videography will take place during the event for promotional purposes.

- By registering and attending the event, you consent to being photographed and recorded. These photos and videos may be used in promotional materials, reports, and social media related to the event.

- Please note: If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, we regret that we cannot accommodate such requests, and therefore attendance may not be suitable for you.

6. Advice Disclaimer

- The advice and guidance shared by presenters reflect their own personal experiences, which may vary.

- Many different opinions will be shared during the event, and attendees are encouraged to consider this diversity of perspectives when making decisions about their career pathways.

- Although we will provide advice on UCAS applications and offer assistance in arranging work experience placements, we cannot guarantee successful UCAS undergraduate applications to study dentistry or acceptance into any particular program.

7. Code of Conduct

- All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards others, including fellow attendees, speakers, and event staff.

- Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated, and the organisers reserve the right to ask attendees to leave if necessary.

8. Safety and Security

- Attendees must follow all safety instructions given by event staff.

- Parents/guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of their child during the event.

9. Changes to the Event

- The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary.

- In the unlikely event of cancellation, attendees will be notified via email at the earliest opportunity.

10. Data Protection

- Personal data collected during registration will be used for event management, organisational, and administrative purposes, including sharing necessary information with our partners and collaborators to ensure smooth running of the event.

- If you are interested in mentorship or work experience opportunities, you will have the option to opt in during the event, at which point your details may be shared with our partners for follow-up communication regarding those opportunities.

- Your data will not be shared for marketing purposes without your consent.

11. Liability

- The organisers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event, except where caused by negligence of the organisers.

- Attendees are advised to take care of their belongings and report any issues to event staff promptly.

12. Agreement

- By registering for and attending the event, attendees (students and parents/guardians) agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
