Anecdotally, young black children do not consider dentistry as a pathway when exploring their future. We believe this is in part related to the lack of visible examples of black dental excellence they are exposed to. Dentistry is a thriving industry that offers an extremely rewarding career with wonderful opportunities for progression, personal development and economic stability.
