Faye is a multi-award winning and highly experienced GDC Registered Dental Hygienist with a special interest in managing complex periodontal problems and providing pain free Guided Biofilm Therapy.

After graduating from Leeds in 2001, Faye went on to complete the National Certificate in Counselling Skills & Behavioural Therapy in order to offer additional support to those patients with dental anxieties and elevated emotional needs. In 2016, she underwent training in Switzerland to become a certified Swiss Dental Academy Trainer and now delivers education courses on AIRFLOW® and Guided Biofilm Therapy® to fellow professionals within the dental industry.

Faye is well known in the dental industry. She frequently writes for dental journals, is a Key Opinion Leader for Oral-B and regularly lectures at dental events both nationally and internationally. She is current chairperson for the North East region of the British Society for Dental Hygienists and Therapists and is co-founder of The Contemporary Hygienist Study Club which supports Dental Hygienists across the UK.

Faye has been voted Best Hygienist at the National Dental Awards an unprecedented four times and is Dental Hygienist of the Year 2022. She is an experienced and highly motivated Hygienist who prides herself on her patient-centred approach and whose passion lies in delivering high quality, prevention based care.
